Are You a Foodie?: Measuring the Foodie Personality

We operationalised the “foodie personality” and developed a psychometrically sound 29-item questionnaire. The items were tested in three empirical studies (n = 470) and the scale was found to be highly reliable and valid. Overall, four factors emerged: strong love for food, perceived knowledge, food-seeking behaviour, and knowledge acquisition.
