Abstract

This study examined COVID-19 worry as a pathway between economic pressure and later parental mental health, and whether coping strategies played a role in these associations. Results showed that higher economic pressure and COVID-19 worry predicted higher depression and anxiety in parents. Further, approach coping strategies exacerbated experiences of anxiety.
