Abstract

The present pre-registered study examined the influence of personality traits on third-party moral judgment. It suggests that Honesty-Humility, Emotionality and Conscientiousness selectively modulate judgment of moral wrongness and decisions of blame and punishment, depending on the intent to harm and the presence of negative outcomes for the victim.
