Abstract
The current study shows that 6-month-old infant’s temperament and home environment contribute to individual differences in attention disengagement and endogenous orientation in eye-tracking tasks. Household disorganization (CHAOS) was related to poor endogenous attention control, a relationship that is mediated by temperament factors of surgency and regulation.
