Abstract

This study addresses the socioeconomic gap in Chinese young children’s executive functioning (EF) levels by developing and validating a parent-based EF-focused intervention for low-SES families in Hong Kong. Children’s inhibitory control were improved after intervention and results offered preliminary support in empowering parenting practises to enhance young children’s EF development.
