Abstract

This study investigated the recent phenomenon of videoconferencing fatigue (“Zoom Fatigue”) and identified potential mediators via analysis of online survey responses. We found support for our hypotheses that a) greater trait mindfulness predicted reduced Zoom Fatigue, and b) this relationship was mediated by perceived stress, burnout, multitasking, and social presence.
