Abstract

This correlational study surveyed 269 menstruating individuals to examine attitudes toward four unconventional menstrual products: the cup, underwear, reusable pad, and sponge. In partial support of the hypotheses, interest in these products was associated with positive menstrual attitudes and pro-environmental attitudes, but not lower self-objectification or communion.
