The Role of Digital Technology Use in Maintaining Social Connections during Social Distancing

Abstract
We investigated the relationship between digital technology use during social distancing and a number of markers of well-being, including anxiety, social support, and friendship stability. We found a negative relationship between anxiety and total digital technology use, indicating that digital technology could be an important resource during social distancing.
