Abstract
Analogical learning strategies such as alignment and comparison can increase conceptual understanding and transfer in classrooms. Students using an online statistics textbook were randomly assigned to get videos and formative assessments that leveraged the power of those strategies. We investigated how this intervention affected learning and performance during the course.
