Aggression and Stress Dysregulation in Youth: A Prospective Meta-Analysis

This meta-analysis will investigate the relationships between aggressive behaviors and the regulation of the autonomic nervous system and hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal axis. Our objective will be to determine if proactive and reactive aggression are associated with opposite patterns of stress regulation, thereby accounting for inconsistent findings found in prior research.
