Abstract

This study tested whether interoceptive awareness of visceral and somatosensory feelings can be dissociated after stroke. Results show that voxels of lesion in different brain regions are associated with these conditions, supporting the idea that interoceptive awareness of visceral and somatosensory feelings can be dissociated.
