Construct Validity of the PID-5 Brief Form Personality Pathology Subscales Partially Supported Via Correlations with Measures of Romantic Relationship Quality

The Personality Inventory for DSM-5 Brief Form was developed to assess the pathological trait component of the DSM-5’s alternative dimensional model for personality disorders. PID-5-BF construct validity was partially supported in a non-clinical (MTurk) sample by predicted correlations with measures of relationship satisfaction and romantic attachment security.
