Abstract

This vignette-based study suggests that disclosing an autism diagnosis during a job interview is most likely to be beneficial when job candidates show autistic characteristics on the interview, are applying for positions with minimal social demands, and are being interviewed by employers knowledgeable about and comfortable with an autism diagnosis.
