The Effect of Self-System Factors on Pre-Service Teachers’ Adaptability to Academic Adversity

Abstract
This study will examine the role of self-system factors on students’ adaptability to academic adversity. By conducting structural equation modeling (SEM) analyses two research questions will be sought to be answered: 1. How preservice teachers’ motivation/engagement affects their academic buoyancy/resilience? 2. How preservice teachers’ student-instructor relationships moderate the association?
