Abstract
Previous research has shown that people differ in their information processing when deliberating which goal to pursue (deliberative mindset) compared to when planning the implementation of a set goal (implemental mindset). In the beads task, we observe fewer draws-to-decision in the implemental mindset, indicating higher degrees of jumping to conclusions.
