Abstract

Employment interviews are commonly used when hiring employees, but previous research suggests that certain interview tactics work more successfully for men than for women, indicating hiring discrimination. The current study examines whether structured interview ratings can be used to mitigate gender differences in the success of self-promotion tactics.
