Abstract
Individuals with late-onset (LO) ADHD fail to meet DSM-V criteria despite significant current symptoms because of subthreshold childhood symptoms. We compared the childhood symptoms retrospectively endorsed by LO individuals and typically developing controls. LO individuals reported higher overall symptom burden and more impairment on tasks requiring attention and motor control.
