Abstract
The impact of socioeconomic status (SES) on children’s cognitive abilities including executive function (EF) is well established; however, the mechanisms underlying the association between SES and children’s EF remain incomplete. We found that the relationship between family socioeconomic status and children’s executive function was partially mediated by parent emotion teaching.
