Abstract
A probabilistic reinforcement-based learning task assessed reward sensitivity in 28 mother-youth dyads. Associations between maternal and youth task performance and maternal depression, anxiety, and stress were explored. Significant associations between maternal and youth reward sensitivity and maternal anxiety emerged, suggesting reward sensitivity may underlie the intergenerational transmission of psychopathology.
