Abstract
In the study, we address the question of how gains and losses are discounted in delay or effort. Our results replicate previous findings for intertemporal choices. For physical effort, we found an inverse asymmetry for the smallest amount and for cognitive effort results provide no support for the asymmetric evaluation.
