A Model Towards Predicting Queer Allyship within Religious/Spiritual Contexts

Students enter graduate training programs with religious attitudes that challenge professional values towards working with queer clientele. We will use SEM to understand the relationship between religious identity and expression, exposure and agreement to non-affirming messaging, ally development, and activism. Results will inform educators’ use of gatekeeping and early remediation.
