Understanding the Association between Spirituality and Mental Health Outcomes in Adolescents in India and the United Arab Emirates

Understanding the relation between spirituality and mental health in adolescents from diverse religious backgrounds and non-Western cultures is clearly warranted and clinically relevant. The present study demonstrates that spirituality is associated with greater life satisfaction and less internalizing symptoms, with self-control mediating and country moderating these associations.
