“How Can We Do Better?” - a Preliminary Investigation of Individuals’ Judgments on the Effective Design of Posters, Organizational Aspects of Academic Conferences, and Measures Taken to Extend the Process of Meaningful Learning

The current work provides a qualitative assessment of individuals’ preferences concerning poster design, the organization of poster sessions, and ways to ensure learning begins before the conference and continues well thereafter. Findings indicate several trends among respondents’ opinions such as preferences for explanatory poster titles and longer presentations.
