Abstract
This study examined how depressive symptomatology was associated with how adults reconstructed memory for a fear-inducing situation that involved caring for a pretend infant. Participants scoring high on depressive symptomatology reported higher levels of anxiety while caring for the infant than they had reported originally two weeks earlier.
