Abstract
The objective of this prospective longitudinal study was to determine if aggression (e.g., fighting)–but not property violations (e.g., vandalism)–predicted increases in social problems during childhood. Our results suggest that it is the case, thereby highlighting the possibility that only some subtypes of problematic behaviors negatively impact social relationships.
