Abstract
In a UK cohort study (N=3,057), we found adolescent intelligence and personality traits predicted 0.5% to 26% of the variance in educational and social-emotional outcomes in emerging adulthood, with evidence of predictor-specific effects. Intelligence and personality also partially mediated and moderated the effect of socio-economic status on emerging adulthood outcomes.
