The Role of Supportive Youth-Staff Relationships in Korean Juvenile Corrections

Secure placement may be traumatic for youth offenders, even though it is unavoidable for them as a last resort. This project with a Korean sample found that supportive relationships with correctional staff, who could be a secure base that these youth could rely on, reduced the likelihood of reoffending.
