Abstract

This proposal aims to identify visual search patterns in fictional narratives describing human rights’ violations. Eye tracking methods will be applied to track attention to particular words and phrases. Participants will complete a measure of empathy and moral foundations to assess correlates between emotional arousal and visual attention.
