Abstract
Perceived threat in youth’s environments elevates risk for long-term negative outcomes. This study examined heterogeneity in youth’s perceptions of threat across multiple contexts and evaluated whether specific profiles of perceived threat uniquely predict developmental outcomes. Findings highlight multicontextual approaches as important for understanding the influences of perceived threats on development.
