Machine Learning Can Detect Faking on Self-Reports and on Implicit Association Tests (IATs)

We investigated whether machine learning algorithms are able to detect faking above chance under different conditions. As expected, our results show that whether or not faking can be detected depends on a complex interplay of factors that impact faking behavior, classification features, and type of classifier.
