COVID-19 Anxiety Impairs Working Memory Capacity, Regardless of Levels of Anxiety Sensitivity

Abstract

For college students, COVID-19-related anxiety is negatively associated with working memory capacity, but this relationship is not moderated by anxiety sensitivity. Findings have important implications for future research on other factors that may influence anxiety’s impact on working memory and the learning outcomes of college students.
