Abstract
The present study analyzes gig economy worker experiences using a revised version of the Attraction-Selection-Attrition model that adds ‘organizing’ as an intermediary step where gig workers connect through social media to share grievances. 60 social media posts were analyzed and indicated that organizing is part of a worker’s gig experience.
