Abstract

Associations between negative events, anxiety, and depression become less clear when examining types of negative events. Few studies on daily hassles and tripartite dimensions exist. 265 undergraduates completed daily hassles (BCSHS) and tripartite dimensions (MASQ-D30) measures. Multilevel models suggest negative affect and physiological hyperarousal predict hassles. Implications are discussed.
