Abstract
We investigated associations between maternal experiences during pregnancy and child internalizing behavior problems in a low-income and diverse sample. Results indicated a significant relationship between maternal distress during pregnancy and child internalizing problems, expanding the limited evidence of the associations between prenatal exposures and internalizing problems in early childhood.
