Personality Traits and the Disclosure of Positive and Negative Autobiographical Memories

Currently, no studies have examined how personality impacts the disclosure of autobiographical memory (AM) to guide practice/policy initiatives and counter the low rate of abuse disclosure. Participants’ report of a positive and negative AMs will be transcribed/coded. Then, participants’ AMs will be analyzed across personality measures (“Big Five,” anxiety, depression).
