Validation of the 24-Item Version of the Components of Emotional Understanding Test (CEUT-24)

The validity of a shortened version of a recently developed instrument for assessing emotion understanding based on the componential emotion approach was studied. Both the predicted internal structure and the relationships with other variables were confirmed in four different languages using a very simple scoring based on the raw scores.
