Abstract
We investigated whether psychological power affects individuals’ approach motivation through altering their perception of control, and possible downstream consequences on moral behavior. Results provided some evidence that power increased individuals' sense of control, which in turn promoted approach motivation. Findings did not show the hypothesized consequences for moral behavior.
