Abstract
This study examines the role of insecure attachment, alexithymia, and negative urgency in linking childhood maltreatment (CM) and suicidal ideation via a path model. Alexithymia may mediate the relationship between CM, avoidant attachment, and suicidal ideation. Negative urgency may mediate the relationship between CM, anxious attachment, and suicidal ideation.
