Abstract

The “moral circle” defines the entities toward which a person feels moral responsibility; different types of responsibility, such as to take care of, guide, obey, share, or be fair, may alter an entity’s placement. Relational models define the moral responsibility type, significantly affecting the boundary of the moral circle.
