Abstract
The present study employed cross-lagged analyses to examine the predictive relationship between COVID-19 health preventative behaviors and mental health factors, such as beliefs about disease vulnerability (e.g., germ aversion and perceived infectibility). Results suggest that health-related beliefs and engagement in preventative behaviors have a mutually-reinforcing relationship over time.
