Abstract
Executive function in childhood is widely believed to predict real-world outcomes in typically developing children; however, the literature has not been examined systematically. We propose a meta-analysis of literature testing the relation between early executive function abilities as measured by standard laboratory tasks, and various outcomes measured concurrently and longitudinally.
