Valuing Happiness Negatively Predicts the Willingness to Engage in Positive Psychology Intervention Via Extrinsic Motivation

Valuing happiness has been associated with both well- and ill-being, and how people pursue this emotion goal has been theorized to be the contributing factor. This research gives participants an effective happiness intervention, and examines whether valuing happiness can predict their motivation and willingness to engage in the activity.
