Sexual Harassment and Disparities in Suicidal Ideation As a Function of Perpetrator

Findings from this research suggest that reports of suicidal ideation among victims of sexual harassment differ by perpetrator status (i.e., authority figure versus peer). Participants who experienced sexual harassment from an authority figure had significantly higher self-reports of suicidal ideation compared to participants who were victimized exclusively by a peer.
