Abstract

This study explored gender differences in the relationships between working memory capacity (WMC), alcohol metacognition, and alcohol consumption. Participants completed measures of WMC and alcohol metacognitive beliefs, and an interview regarding alcohol use. Results indicated possible gender differences in how WMC relates to alcohol consumption via alcohol metacognitions.
