Culture Moderates the Impact of an Advocacy-Based Intervention for Refugees

Abstract
A three-level generalized linear model found that culture moderated the interaction between chronic stress change and treatment. For African refugee participants, PTSD and emotional distress decreased as a function of chronic stress. Results suggest that one's background may impact whether material support or ESTs are most warranted.
