Abstract
This study explored the relationship among emotional regulation(ER), metacognition, and reflection. Multiple regression analyses (of 493 students) indicated ER (as the strongest predictor) and metacognition; explain 35% of the variance in reflection. Perhaps, the reappraisal dimension, going beyond the metacognitive, transforms into reframing/reinterpreting in a manner that is inherently reflective.
