Stereotype Threat at Work: An Extension of 15 Years of Research

This paper begins with a review of the literature on stereotype threat at work. Five themes were identified. We expand our understanding of stereotype threat at work by conducting interviews with minorities regarding their experiences at work. We distinguish between self- and group-as-target. Content analysis was conducted, additional themes emerged.
