Abstract
The stigma-consciousness questionnaire for women (Pinel, 1999) was translated into Japanese to examine relationship to attitudes toward gender and people with disabilities. 172 Japanese female students answered the questionnaire. High stigma consciousness women tended to believe that there is discrimination and prejudice against people of a certain gender.
