Abstract
According to the tenets of fuzzy trace theory, alcohol consumption is likely controlled by a series of categorical decisions about whether to have one more drink. In keeping with FTT, alcohol choices and problems are more closely related to perceived risk of one drink than perceived risk of heavy drinking.
