Abstract
Though otherwise agreeing, political affiliation affected voters’ perceptions of the value of Agreeableness in “good leaders.” Political affiliation biased perceptions of candidates’ personalities; each party viewed their candidate as more Open/Conscientious, but less Neurotic than their opponent. Republicans also found Trump more Extraverted/less Agreeable. Democrats found Biden more Agreeable/equally Extraverted.
